Who Doesn't Like Spaghetti?!?

We thought that spaghetti would be a food Emma would for sure like, if not love.  Boy were we totally wrong!  At first, we thought that maybe she just didn't get a good bite so we attempted it again.  She still made disgusted faces and showed absolutely no interest in it.  On the bright side, it was an easy clean up and her clothes didn't get messy at all!

Emma waiting patiently for the next new food, spaghetti!

Taking a look at what she is about to eat.

A little bite and not so thrilled by it.

Going in for another bite, but looking a little uneasy about the whole situation.

Still not liking the taste of it.

Thought maybe we should switch up who is giving her the food...and still no luck!

Emma decided that she wanted to give it a try and she was going to use two spoons.

Not your normal milk stache; oh yea, this one is spaghetti sauce!

Taking a closer look at the spoon she is using.

And getting a little taste of the other spoon.

Both ends of the spoon (for quality purposes).

Okay, okay, okay.  No more pictures!

I give up!  This lady won't stop taking my pictures.

So Emma decided to make some silly faces.

And even lunge at the camera.

Only to end with a little smirk while chewing on the spoon.

Park Time for Swings!

There is one thing that Emma really enjoys and thats being outdoors.  So whenever the weather is nice, we try to get outside to do things.  Today was a great day to go to the park!  I think so many other families had the same idea!  It's a good thing Emma can't really run around and play on the rest of the playground because that was crowded and the kiddie swings were all open.  Emma enjoys the swings so much that when we take her out of them she cries a little.  I can't wait for more warm weather so we can spend more time here at the park!

Daddy getting ready to push Emma in the swing.

Emma doesn't look too interested in the swing just yet.

As a matter of fact, Emma is more concerned about the kiddos swinging next to her.

And then it happened...she remembered that she loves the swings!

All smiles!

Daddy getting a peek at how happy Emma is while she swings.

The pure joy of a child's face.

Holding Mommy's hand to explore the rest of the playground.

We found a pretend wooden seat.

Our family's shadow.

Mommy's turn to push Emma in the swing.

Looks like someone is getting a little tired.

Keeping an eye on the swing as we walked away.

Shopping Trip

My mom, Emma, and I headed to Chesterfield Mall in hopes of finding some outfits for my mom.  As it turned out, we didn't do too good with that.  However, we were able to stop by the salon to get our eyebrows threaded.  No matter how many times you do it, it still feels funny.  Emma was a good sport!  I think she will enjoy shopping in her years to come, or else she doesn't understand all the running and hiding under the clothes racks just yet!  Only time will tell...

Looking at herself in the mirrors while waiting for Nana to try on some clothes.

What are you looking at?

Emma was watching as Nana was getting her eyebrows threaded.

Guys, don't come in here!  It looks pretty painful.

Things are always better if you bring a friend.

Umm, am I next?

Are you doing okay Nana?

Getting a secret from the penguin.

Happy girl :)

Emma enjoyed going up and down in the salon chair.

My Little Helper

I'm convinced that Emma will be my little helper for lots of things, even if it's things I don't necessarily think she needs to be doing.  Today, she decided that the pantry needed to be reorganized.  Emma began taking out items off of the highest shelf she could reach.  Then she worked on the lower ones when she realized that she wouldn't be getting much from that top shelf.  At least we didn't have any items spill so it was an easy clean up.  I'm afraid the next time I might not be so lucky!

Trying to reach for the coffee.  Please don't fall on top of me!

Oh yea, much easier getting things off of this shelf.

Let's see, what do we have here?!?

What a mess I'm making!  Oh well, its fun!

Catherine's New Place

Before we headed over to Catherine's new place, Emma decided to lounge on the floor and enjoy a bottle.  She enjoyed it so much, that we needed to change outfits because she was wearing some of the bottle.  While visiting at Catherine's, Emma got to search the place for toys as well as play with Chandler.  Emma sure does love that kid!

It's much easier to play with Chandler while sitting on the floor.
