Michael and I went over to his brother and sister in law's house with his parents to celebrate our niece's birthday. Grandpa made lasagna, we brought the salad, and Grandma and Grandpa brought the cake. We opened presents, sang happy birthday, made cookies, made cards, and of course played! We had a great time and can't wait for our daughter to meet and be able to play with her cousins!
What a handsome pair!
Uncle Michael practicing by feeding Chase; soon it will be his own baby Emma.
Isn't it fancy; it's a Fancy Nancy purse book filled with all kinds of neat things.
Isabella at the trail end of opening her presents.
Chase was just a crawling around.
Oh what a cute niece and handsome nephew we have!
Singing Happy Birthday to Isabella before eating some black forest cake and sugar cookies.
Just getting started...we were taking everyone's orders for what design they wanted.
Chase and Grandma watching as we made the cookies.
Adding the egg to the batter.
Mixing all of the ingredients for our sugar cookies.
Rolling out the dough is hard work.
Picking out our cookie cutter design.
Cheesing for the camera!
Placing the cookie on the pan, almost ready to eat.
Uncle Michael helping Isabella make her parents anniversary cards.
Uncle Michael being silly with the markers; too bad I didn't get a picture with him sticking the markers in his ears and up his nose (Isabella got a picture though).
