Tonight Michael had booked an appointment with the fire department to install the car seats in our cars. This may be a little early, but I would rather be prepared ahead of time than be rushed later on. We weren’t at the fire station very long because two guys worked in my car, while two guys worked in Michael’s car. After they were installed, one of the fire fighters showed us a few things with the car seats. It was nice to get this information and also to know that we need to put emergency contact information on the carrier. These are things we wouldn’t think of, but they have been through it enough that they know what to tell people.
After we got home from the fire station, I began feeling funny; like I was getting the flu. My head was hurting, my whole body was aching, and I just felt like blah. We didn’t get to see most of the shows we like to watch because we both fell asleep. I’ve been told a million times that I need to get my rest now because in a couple weeks I won’t be getting much sleep so I need to get used to it. I wish I could just relax, but I keep thinking of all the little things that need to get done before Emma arrives.
