Thies Farm

It is that time of the year when the weather is getting cooler, the leaves begin to fall off the trees, we bring out our winter clothes, and prepare the chili and hot chocolate, which could only mean one thing...time to go to the pumpkin patch. However, this was not the case for our weekend. The weather was absolutely beautiful, perfect for Emma's first trip to the pumpkin patch. We went to Thies Farm with Nana, Papa, and Uncle Scott. While it didn't seem like we were there too long, we actually spent about two and a half hours there. Next year Emma will be able to run around the play area and do more of the activities. Oh how I can't wait!

Welcome to Thies Pumpkin Land

The play area Emma will love next year.

Nana heading to the pumpkin patch.

Searching for just the right one.

I think Nana and Uncle Scott may have found it.

Nana said, "There it is!"

Uncle Scott picking the perfect pumpkin!

Then Papa brought the wagon to get the pumpkin.

After all that hard work, Uncle Scott needed to take a rest break.

Sitting on the pumpkin like Uncle Scott.

Pretty yellow flowers.

Hilarious facial expression from Emma.

Emma and I were both getting tired of taking pictures at this point, can you tell?
