While I have lived in St. Louis my entire life, I don't remember going to a Thanksgiving Day Parade; however, I'm sure my parents would tell me that I have been when I was younger. This year, Michael and I thought we would adventure to downtown St. Louis for the parade there.
Making to the parade on time, all depended on how well Emma slept and if we had everything ready to go before she woke up. Well we were off to a late start (that seems to be the norm for us these days) so we weren't sure if we would even make it to the parade on time. Have no fears, with Michael's driving we were there in time and able to get a spot on the parade route before the beginning of the parade came to us!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Since we didn't have time for breakfast, Emma enjoyed a fruit pouch.
Sitting on the ground waiting for the parade to begin.
Need a little drink too.
Part of the crowd at the parade, with the arch in the background.
Emma playing with her Thomas the train toy in the middle of the walkway.
Looking to see if the parade was coming.
Still looking.
Daddy and Emma
And there it was, the start of the parade!
A firetruck
Emma seemed very interested in the parade participants.
Playing peek-a-boo with Daddy.
Daddy feeding the little birdie!
Mommy's turn to hold Emma on her shoulders.
Emma must have liked something she saw.
Who doesn't like a huge bee?!?!
Or people dressed up as Christmas trees?!?
There's Fred Bird!
A giant snowman
A view of downtown St. Louis.
A dog playing with a ball
Waving to the people in the parade.
Pointing to something she liked.
Yes, it was Ronald McDonald.
How funny is that!
Slobber all over Daddy's hair.
More fire trucks, Chase would love this!
Where are you going?
Loving on Daddy.
Emma getting a little tired from the festivities.
Uncle Greg, is that you?
Almost asleep.
And she's out!
Walking back to the car.
Staring off into space; she was so tired.
