Bella invited us to her school for an open house, but she didn't tell us that her school is a castle (literally). It definitely doesn't look like the schools mommy and daddy went to when they were growing up. It was pretty cool looking at all of the booths and events they had set up for the school picnic and open house.

Dinner and Play Date with Daddy
"Dad, come on...when are you going to give me this food?"
"I'm still waiting!"
"Maybe if I just stare at it, the food will get in my mouth."
"Daddy, am I doing it?"
"Wow, I am doing it!"
Emma making a silly face while I was trying to get a picture of her and daddy.
Daddy's turn to mess up a picture.
"Umm, mom...what is Cali going to do to me?"
Happy as a clam.
"Hey, look at me...I'm standing!"
Just hanging out with daddy.
"Come on Lexi!"
"Are we done playing yet?"
Emma walking to Cal Cal.
And taking a quick rest break.
Then not wanting to get back up.

Emma LOVES this toy
Michael and I thought we would try Emma in this toy again. The first experience was not that great. Emma was just too little that she didn't understand the concept of sitting in the toy and playing with each of the attachments. While she still may not understand the concept, she does love playing with all of the toys. She loves playing and listening to her cd.
Emma looking a little concerned.
Oh the toy that makes little miss Emma so mad.
"No way!?! He said what?"
Emma is deep in thought with this part of the toy.
Emma staring the butterfly down.
All smiles while looking up at mommy.
Nothing better than a happy little lady.

Grandparent's Day: Mommy's Family
After listening to the special reports from September 11, 2001, we headed to church, where again we prayed for all those people who lost their lives because of the terrorist attacks. We will never forget what happened! After church, we went to my Grandparent's house for lunch and to visit. I wasn't feeling very well so we didn't stay too much longer after eating. I didn't want to get the rest of my family sick and I just needed to get some rest.

Grandparent's Day: Daddy's Family
Michael and I decided we wanted to get together with his parents and grandparents to celebrate Grandparent's day. So we thought rather than planning so much on Grandparent's Day we would split it up. Our first Grandparents festivities began at Michael's Grandparent's apartment. We brought over pizza, salad, and cookies. It was good to get together to spend time with family.
Well it isn't exactly Michael's parents first Grandparent's day, but it's the first for Emma.
Uh oh! Emma found the camera. Say cheese!
Emma smiling at Great Grandma as she talks to her.
Grandma and Great Grandma chatting.
Grandma and Emma
Tickle attack from Grandma.
Great Grandpa.
Emma reading to Great Grandma.
"Look at this Great Grandma!"
Grandparent's day wore little miss Em out.

4 Month Check Up
Today was Emma's four month check up. I can't believe how fast the time has gone since she has been born. And now it seems like everyday Emma is changing and learning new things. She is at such a great age; I wish I could keep her like this forever!
At her check up the doctor said that all looks well with this little lady! She now weighs 13 pounds 13 ounces and is 25 1/4 inches long! We were given the go ahead for cereal, so are plans are to trial it tonight to see how Emma does. The poor baby had to have four more shots and drink the nasty fluids one more time. It just breaks my heart to have to hold her arms down while she gets the shots and screams at the top of her lungs. Two more months and we will have to go through this again. :(
Playing with good ole Emma!
"What are you looking at mom?"
"This again?"
"Oh wait, that's right, I kind of like this seat!"
"Hey, did anyone see my toys?"
"What are you looking at toy?"
Emma licking her hand like an ice cream cone.
"Mom, I can still see you."
Then we trialed the cereal...
What a happy girl, too bad she doesn't know what is about to happen.
"Hey man, what's in this stuff?"
Emma was a little unsure about the cereal.
Then it hit her, she didn't care for it at all! But we will try again.
"Nooo, I don't like this stuff!"
