A Special Day at the Zoo

There are a couple times throughout the year that the St. Louis Zoo opens their doors just for members.  I'm so glad my Mommy and Daddy decided to become members this year because now we get to experience all the other fun things that come with being a member!  We headed to the Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa to begin the fun festivities.  Shortly after we arrived, Uncle Chris, Aunt Jessica, Isabella, and Chase arrived so they could join in on all the fun!  I'm glad I was able to spend this special day at the zoo with people I love!

Daddy and Emma waiting in line for the book signing.

Grandma and Grandpa bought each family this cool book.  I have to tell all of my friends that my Grandma knows someone famous...this author!

While waiting for the rest of the family to get to the zoo we headed to the Children's Petting Zoo (Emma's first time going there).  Emma was a little hesistant at first by the goats.

Then she became very excited. Maybe she thought they were dogs, since they are about the same size as her pups.

Waving to some goats over there.

Smelling how stinky these goats really are!

Being brave and giving this goat a little pet on the booty.

Emma found two goats that she really liked.  I think because they reminded her of Cali and Lexi.

And we are off!

A bit of fear on her face.

And then excitement!

Silly goat on a bench.

Grandma and Emma petting that goat.

Grandpa brushing the goat.

Goat fight!

Back to the goat that looks like Cali.

Run Emma! I guess this goat decided that the goat Emma was petting didn't need to be petted anymore so he came after her!

Wow! That was a close one!

Looking at some animals with Daddy and Grandpa.

Getting a good view of the hippos.

Better keep an eye on Daddy too.

Taking a peek above the water.

Then below to look at all the fish.

Yay! Chase is here!

Burr! It's cold in the penguin house!

Carousel ride with Daddy and Chase.

Waiting for the gorillas to come to the window.

Chase keeping a lookout from the other side.

These girls got a little distracted and became so silly.

Emma checking out what Isabella was having for snack.

Oh my gosh!  The gorilla finally came over to the window.

Emma was brave and went right up to the window to have a conversation with this gorilla.

Someone let out these three monkeys!

Snack time for Emma.

My cute cousins, Isabella and Chase.

Busted!  Someone showed Emma how to pick her nose.

Maybe it was Daddy?

Our tickets for the choo choo!

All aboard!

Emma's first train ride.

Uncle Chris, Aunt Jessica, and Isabella.  Where's Chase?

Oh, there he is!

Daddy and Emma on the train.

Hold on tight.

Don't lean too far or else you will fall into the animal's house.

Emma giving Daddy some love while he feeds her a bottle.

Are we on the right track?
