Pumpkin Carving

We all know how Michael is with carving pumpkins; lets just say the poor pumpkins end up butchered!  So I was curious to see how this year would go; I mean we have a little one who observes everything and the pumpkin is smaller.  We are in for a treat this year!

Emma making sure the stage is set for our pumpkin carving.

Hey you! What are you doing?

Our little pumpkin

She is totally wicked cute!

Look how strong Emma is!

Trying to lif the pumpkin one more time.

Resting before we begin the carving.

Helping move the pumpkin to Daddy.

Daddy is prepared to cut the stem.

Here Daddy, maybe I should do it?!?

Okay Emma, just this one time.

Then Emma was bored and began picking at her toes.

Cali came over to see what we were doing.

No more pictures I said!

Emma about to remove the stem.

Seeing the inside of the pumpkin for the first time.

And she didn't like it (actually she began to cry).

So Mommy was left to clean up the pumpkin.

Emma noticing all of the pumpkin seeds (we kept them for Grandma).

Ewww! Some of the seeds got on Emma's foot and she didn't like it at all!

The design Michael decided on, the letter 'P' for our last name.
