Big Boy Chair

I'm learning of the challenges of having two little ones that are still young enough to require much attention for most daily tasks.  It is very hard to multitask having to feed one child and hold the other one, so I thought it would be worth a shot to put Mason in the high chair.  While he is still too young to actually eat anything, he most certainly can sit there while I help Emma with anything she needs.  At first, Mason wasn't too thrilled to be sitting in the chair, but then he didn't mind it at all because he could still see us and it worked out perfectly because at that level he could see exactly what we were doing.

We did have a little girl, Emma, that became very jealous that he got to sit in that chair and not her.  I tried to explain that she has grown up into such a big kid that she doesn't even need that high chair and that she can sit in the big girl chair already at the table.  I'm sure to her it sounded like a lot of mumbles, but with time I'm sure she will be okay with it.  I mean, after all, she wasn't even using it to sit in for meals or anything.  It was just the fact that her brother was being able to do something and she couldn't.  You better believe, after Mason got out of the high chair, Emma went right up to it and tried to climb inside!  Already there is sibling competition going on!

Hmmm, what is this thing you put me in?

Not looking amused by being in the high chair.

Oh wait, he doesn't seem to mind it at all!

Emma got to take a picture of Mason.

The jelly fish herself!
