The day has finally come, we are moving! The moving truck arrived this morning and within a few minutes there were blankets lining the hall ways and boxes quickly leaving the house. It was amazing how fast it really went to load the big truck. Since the movers had the doors opened all day, we had to run the heater and dress appropriately. Emma sure did have a lot to watch as room after room was emptied. Now the fun part of cleaning the house before we move to Virginia!
Grandpa came to help entertain the kids.
The little guy doesn't even know whats going on around him,
but all is okay as long as he is swinging.
Grandpa came bringing breakfast, just like he would do most days he watched Emma.
Emma sure does love parfaits.
Getting a bite from Grandpa.
The moving truck is here!
The movers brought all kinds of blankets to line the hall ways or for Emma to climb on.
The view when turning onto our street.
Goodbye my little Mazda. It's been a good 10 years or so with you :)
The intersection of where we lived.
Trying to keep Mason warm.
The basement is empty. It looks so different.
Emma was trying to help clean up:
Emma was kind enough to let Mason lay on her couch.
Checking upstairs as the boxes are leaving.
Mason's room is empty.
Emma's room is empty.
Our bedroom is empty:
Papa came out to the house right before the moving truck left.
Emma saying goodbye to the moving truck full of all our belongings.
We will see you in Virginia!
Burrr! It's cold; let's go back inside.
There goes the moving truck down Highway K.
The laundry room is empty.
The dining room is empty.
One more look upstairs.
The main bathroom is empty.
Emma wanted to have one more picnic on the living room floor before we left the house:
