I can't believe how much has changed in just a month! It's not like it has been forever ago that we were changing poopy diapers and having spit up all over us; heck, it was only 20 months ago! Maybe it's the fact that there are now two little ones that need to both be cared for.
We entered a world we hadn't been before...a baby boy! Michael and I thought we had the hang of it with a little girl, so what could be so different for a boy. Let me tell you, you always need to have a shield ready cause you never know when that little guy will hose you down. Some things are the same no matter what the sex of the baby is, but then there are those different moments. And we love each of our babies, just might be in different ways but we still love them!
There's a different feeling having two little kids though. It's hard to balance between the two, especially when the world of the older one was completely changed and now there is someone smaller who needs even more attention than she does. Emma doesn't understand that at all, but with time she will realize that we have both kiddos and neither one of them is leaving. With time, we will have a system down that works great for us!
