Mason's Baptism

Our family has alot of events happening in such a short time and I'm glad that everything was able to take place just as planned, well almost.  We set Mason's Baptism for the week earlier, but due to both the kids having RSV, we thought it would be best to let them recover as much as possible before having a lot of family celebrate with us.

However, our weekends were filling up fast so we had to choose this weekend.  It was a little hassle trying to contact all of our guests to notify of the switch, but we figured people would understand and would rather have the kiddos healthy instead of potentially getting others sick.  As it turned out, this weekend worked just fine for Mason's Baptism.

I was a little afraid Emma wouldn't do well at the church since we went to Mass right before his ceremony.  But to my surprise, she did okay.  I guess it does help having alot of family there to entertain her.  When it was time for the ceremony, we moved over to another section of the church and waited a little bit (I thought we were waiting for another family).  To our surprise, Mason was the only one being baptized.  The ceremony was more personal and was over relatively quickly, which worked out okay so that we could go home to prepare the food and mingle with our friends and family.
