Emma had seen pictures of her cousins, Isabella and Chase, doing science experiments on the weekends, and naturally she said she wanted to do some too. I looked up some experiments that were a little more age appropriate and toddler approved. While Mason was taking a nap, we began our first science experiment. This probably wasn't the best experiment to start with as it took several hours before the finished product was revealed. But nevertheless, it was a start to learning something new, science. We didn't go into all of the details of what was happening, but rather just told the directions to Emma and let her do the experiment on her own (with help when she needed it).
Waiting to put in the food coloring.
Stirring the yellow water.
Then the blue water.
Daddy put it on the counter so Mason wouldn't mess with it.
Stepping back to see what will happen.
And now we wait and wait and wait.
