Emma's Six Month Check Up

I can't believe how fast little miss Emma is growing up. It seems like just the other day we were coming home from the hospital and now she is such a big girl. Emma is able to sit unsupported and has begun to pull herself up. Not to mention she has started eating real foods; pureed veggies and Cheerios. I can't wait to watch her grow into a beautiful young lady.

Emma checking out a toy in the waiting room.

Mom, I think I might like one of these toys for Christmas!

Wow, another new toy to check out. Maybe later; Mom said something about these are covered with germs, but I didn't see anything.

Emma's newest food, Cheerios.

Emma looking up to dad like "Is this okay to eat?"

Looking over all of the cereal on her plate.

Mom, are you sure dad knows what he is talking about?

This was right before we gave Emma a Cheerio only for her to make the disguisted face and spit it out. Maybe she will like them later? Otherwise, her puppies will love it when she throws the Cheerios on the floor.

Big Girl Chair

We met our friend, Laura, at Max and Erma's for dinner. Let's just say Emma is at a weird stage; she doesn't like to be contained in her car seat and I'm just a little hesitant to put her in a high chair at a restaurant. But today was the day! Emma was offered a big girl chair so we tried it out. And she loved it! I think she especially loved it because she was in the aisle and was able to watch everyone around her. She is just like her daddy and will stare at people before you make them snap out of it. Now whenever we go to a restaurant, Emma will get to be one of the big kids.

At first, Emma loved the high chair.

Not so thrilled to be sitting in the big girl chair.

Play Ball!

Emma loves playing with the ball Grandpa and Grandma got her.

Trying to figure out this bright orange thing.

Kind of happy with this new toy.

Oh wait...come back here ball!

Is this something you should eat?

Mommy and Emmy

Hello Nana!

Emma loves talking on the phone; well I should say, she likes it when we put our phones on speaker phone so she can be apart of the conversation. Yes many times
I've been on the phone just saying "Emma, hi Emma, Emmy, or anything to get her to make some sort of sound." This particular instance Emma was talking to Nana and trying to find out where this monkey was coming from.

So what button do I need to press in order to make a call.

Now that I have this phone on, how do I call someone?

I guess I need to speak up because Nana didn't hear me.

Is this where I'm supposed to put it? Mom and Dad put their phones in their pockets, but since I don't have a pocket I guess this is where I will put it.

Thank You Grandma And Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa bought me the coolest toy in the world, a ball! It is bright orange and is just the right size to smack or lick. Right now I don't know really how to play ball, but I will learn.

WOW! What is this thing?

Scrunched up face

The newest silly face.

Emmy acting like a lion...ROAR!

Here is one of the wild animal's tail, or is it Cal Cal?

Mom, help me? This little one keeps getting close to my tail!

Roll this way you wild ball.

Dad, is that how you play ball?

Hands off!

Such a pretty and happy girl :)

Play Date With Mommy

I love spending as much time with little miss Emmy. She is growing up so fast and it seems like that she is learning something new each day. This particular Sunday afternoon we were just sitting on the floor practicing our sit to stand and giving hugs. She is such a cutie pie!

Bowling Baby

Uncle Ron and Roger had asked if anyone was interested in going bowling because they needed to use up some gift certificates. While I am not a big bowler, Michael used to play in a league with his Grandpa so he was quite thrilled when he heard this news.

After Emma and Michael took a nap, we headed down to the bowling alley. This was Emma's first experience and probably not the last. She was not interested in watching the guys bowl, but rather watching all of the people around us. I think one day Michael would love to take her bowling so they can have their bonding time.

Taking it all in; not sure where we are.

Checking some people out over here.

What are you looking at? That's my Papa out there!

What are these things? TVs with lots of rows? I'm so confused?!?
