Emma's First Easter

Holidays are always busy; traveling all over to visit with family and eat, of course!  This is Emma's first Easter.  First thing in the morning is to open our Easter basket that the Easter bunny left for Emma.  Then off to church we go before heading over to Nana and PaPa's for brunch with Great Grandma and Grandpa.

Word on the street is that you get candy on Easter?  All I got were books and movies; no CANDY!

First Easter Egg Hunt

We had two Easter egg hunts on the same day at the same time, so we had to decide which one to go to;  the decision was clear.  We were going down to Grandma Betty's Independent Living facility to go on an egg hunt with Katie!  The facility had divided the egg hunts into different age groups; Emma was in the first group and Katie was in the second group.  While Emma didn't know exactly what she was doing, I think she had a good time.  Next year will definitely be more fun for us all!

A Day at the Zoo

Since we opened a Zoo membership, we want to be able to utilize it as much as possible.  What a wonderful day to head to the Zoo!  Of course, the days that are beautiful weather means that everyone else has the same idea to be outdoors.  We still braved the crowds and enjoyed spending the time with our little lady.  There is such joy on her face when she sees the animals.  I'm sure we will have many more trips to the Zoo in our future!
