Who would have thought going to get a little girl's haircut would be such a big deal!?!? Well it was! My mom wanted to take Emma to get her first haircut or be there when she had her first haircut. I didn't want to leave anyone out so we had asked Michael's parents if they wanted to be there for her first haircut. As it turned out, we had Michael's parents, my mom, my brother, and then us there for Emma's first haircut!
I had made an appointment for a salon, Sweet and Sassy, at West County Mall. A friend of mine, Alison, said she had gone there with a little girl that's going to be in her wedding and they loved it! I'm not sure Emma will really understand what is going on, but after all, it is her first haircut!
My family arrived there first so we were just killing time until everyone else got there. There were so many kids in the salon, it may have been a little frightening for Emma. When everyone was there, we went inside for her appointment. Flash forward to the end of her haircut...let's just say I don't think I will be taking her to get her haircut again any time soon!
She hated it! So much so that she just cried!
