Patiently Waiting To Go Home

After both Mason and I were checked out by our doctors, we needed to be released from the hospital. It started out that my release time would be before noon, but as the day crept forward, we realized that it was going to be much later.
Michael had already packed the car and we just kept waiting. Even when it got to lunch time, we didn't know what to do. Do we order food, but then what if the staff comes to release us? After a few minutes of Emma stating that she was hungry, we decided just to go ahead and get something. While we were waiting for the food to arrive in our room, I walked with Emma up and down the halls. It was hard to contain her in one area for a long period of time. While in the hallway, a nurse asked how we were doing. I just stated that Emma was starving and crackers weren't cutting it. The nurse took us over to 'the hidden stash' where Emma was able to get much more food and drinks! Emma thought she was in heaven; grabbing just about everything in her sight!

The little man all snuggled up.

Dressed and ready to go home.

Mason is already holding his own pacifier.  Good baby boy!

Sound asleep.

Acting like he was asleep too.

How precious!

Emma was saying 'hi' to her baby brother.

Emma is no longer the only child; oh boy,
we are going to be busy with these two!
