I can't believe how fast the last couple days have gone by. It seems like just a few months ago we were anticipating the birth of our little man and then boom he is here!
We are heading to the doctor's office for Mason's first checkup since leaving the hospital. On this visit, he won't have to have any shots, but rather just make sure he is doing okay. I think Emma is a little confused as to why she is at the doctor's office since she shouldn't be due for a checkup for another couple months. She quickly forgets about the shots that are associated with the doctor's office when she sees all of the toys in the rooms! We told Emma that she needs to set a good example for Mason, but of course at this age she has no idea what we are talking about and continues to be her wild self. Maybe we will revisit that thought when Emma is a little bit older.
All bundled up and ready to go to the doctor's office.
Emma playing with the toys and Mason resting in the waiting area.
A little yawn from Mason.
Playing in the kitchen.
On the run with a phone.
Emma likes this toy because she has one similar to it.
Still sleeping. ZZZ....
Michael is thrilled to do more paperwork.
Needed a fruit pouch while playing.
Starting to wake up a little.
Moving onto crackers as a snack.
Mason's 1st checkup weight, 8 pounds 12 ounces.
Emma looking up at the examining table, where Mason was laying.
Keeping an eye on Mason as the doctor takes a look at him.
Mason may have fallen back asleep.
Emma helping find things in the drawers.
All done.
Emma was ready to head back home.
She did so good that we gave her a sucker.
The kids outside the doctor's office.
