I was basing the whole labor and delivery process off of my experience with Emma and let me tell you, it was completely different. I guess it's true what they say, each child is different. Things were moving smoothly from the beginning, but during the middle of the night there were some complications. The umbilical cord began to wrap around Mason's neck. I tried moving in different positions to encourage Mason to move around on his own. Things went back and forth for a little bit. Then things were fine, he had moved into a good position and was finally ready to come out and greet us! After waiting from noon on December 11th till 5:05 AM on the Wednesday the 12th, my little man was finally here!
What a special birthday none of us will forget...12-12-12!
There he is, just absolutely perfect!
Can't wait to hold my little guy!
Michael was kind of excited.
There's the little man, well maybe big guy (9 pounds 1 ounce!).
All cleaned up.
Making sure everything is just fine with him.
Patiently waiting to see and hold Mason.
Michael is ready with the video camera.
Mason's footprints
Getting all snuggled up.
And I'm still waiting...
Mason's wrist tag.
Mason's first bath at the hospital.
And he hated it!
Screamed the entire time.
And then I finally got to hold the man I've been waiting 9 months to meet!
Our happy family, well minus Emma.
Such a sweet baby boy.
Mason just kept staring up at his Mommy.
Daddy and Mason
All smiles from Daddy.
And Mommy too!
