Carving Pumpkins

I can't wait to begin so many family traditions with Emma. While she may be too little now, it won't hurt to get in the habit of doing them so she is familiar with them when she is older. While Michael and I decided on one of the easier designs for the pumpkin; it never fails that we get mad at the pumpkin and it turns out totally different than what the template shows. Oh well, we still love Halloween!

Rombach's Farm

Off to another pumpkin patch we go. This time we were meeting Michael's parents at Rombach's Farm. After getting a little turned around with the directions, we finally found it. And I don't know how we could have missed it because it is huge! I can't wait for next year when Emma will be old enough to play more at the pumpkin patch.

Cardinal Pumpkin Photo Shoot

Thies Farm

It is that time of the year when the weather is getting cooler, the leaves begin to fall off the trees, we bring out our winter clothes, and prepare the chili and hot chocolate, which could only mean one thing...time to go to the pumpkin patch. However, this was not the case for our weekend. The weather was absolutely beautiful, perfect for Emma's first trip to the pumpkin patch. We went to Thies Farm with Nana, Papa, and Uncle Scott. While it didn't seem like we were there too long, we actually spent about two and a half hours there. Next year Emma will be able to run around the play area and do more of the activities. Oh how I can't wait!
