Christmas Eve at Chris and Jessica's

This is the year that Chris and Jessica will spend Christmas with her family so we had just a little time to spend with them today. It's always busy trying to find enough time around the holidays. Our family headed over to their house early in the morning for a brunch. A little while later, Michael's parents and Grandma joined us. While this year is a little different without Michael's Grandpa, we knew he was with us in spirit on this day.

It was so much fun watching the kids (mainly Isabella and Chase) open their gifts to see all the new and exciting toys they will be able to play with once all the gifts are opened. Emma is still too little to understand fully what is going on, but don't you worry, next year she will be a pro at it or have some good helpers to open the gifts. After the gifts were all opened, Isabella and Chase wanted to play in their toy room for a little bit before nap time. When it was nap time we headed out because we also knew that Emma needed to get some rest before our next stop this evening.
