By the time we went to Gulf World, the weather hadn't changed much. There was still a light rain and the skies were overcast, but we thought we would adventure out anyways.
We weren't sure how long Emma would participate at the facility so we left right after lunch, just in case we had to or wanted to go back later in the evening. We started out looking at all of the animals outside; thankfully, the animals we all under a covering or we would have been a little wet. Now, we just had to hope Emma would like looking at the animals and sitting through the animal shows.
One of the large turtles swimming around.
A close up of the turtle.
Thank goodness, it's a contained shark.
Daddy and Emma looking at an alligator.
The turtle stuck his head out of the water to say hi to Emma.
Going to look at the stingrays before their show began.
Michael was going to be brave and touch a stingray.
Reaching in to the stingray.
And making contact!
Emma and Daddy looking at the dolphins.
A few dolphins, who don't partake in the dolphin show.
Some cute little pengiuns.

Snack time for Emma.
One of the sea lions.
Looking over at the sea lions.
Pretty pink flamingos.
Some of the birds inside the bird exhibit:
A cracker for this wild animal!
And a little juice, of course!
A new way to sit at the picnic table.
Watching the school of shark swim by; watch out turtle!
Inside an exhibit with a huge fish tank.
Emma running by the fish!
And looking at the rows of seating for when the facility puts on a show.
I don't think this wild one would sit through a show.
Holy cow! A penguin is walking around the facility.
