We had a lazy morning today. I love just sleeping in then waking up to a crying baby only to be calmed when she sees her mommy or daddy. I love how when we see Emma for the first time in the morning, she gives us a huge smile. It’s so neat being able to see all the new things she is discovering. I can’t wait till she is a little older and begins to move around.
This afternoon we headed over to my parent’s house where we intended to get there earlier, but the time just got away. I know crazy how we didn’t do anything all day, but we were almost late to meet them. We went to Fridays for dinner before heading over to Uncle Ron and Roger’s house. We were getting together to visit with Greg and Jill as well as look at Scott’s Australia pictures again.
Everyone still loves to look or hold Emma. We played cards for a little bit, but there were too many people to play one game so we had to split up. Things really are changing now that we have a little one. We couldn’t stay as long as we normally would because we didn’t want to disrupt Emma’s sleep. Emma actually did pretty well falling asleep so we know now that we can stay out a little longer whenever we go somewhere.
