Welcome Home Scott!

What an eventful weekend we have had already and it's about to get real busy! It started tonight with the return of Scott from Australia. Rather than us going over to my parent’s house and Emma falling asleep there, waking her up to go home, falling asleep in the car, waking her up once we got home, and then try to put her back to sleep in her own bed, we thought it would be best to just stay at my parent’s house for the night. We got over there earlier so that Michael could watch the Cardinals game and Emma could visit with her grandparents.

We tried sticking to her normal routine and put her to bed around 9:00 PM, but she wasn’t quite ready to go to sleep. After my parents left to get Scott at the airport Emma woke up and was hungry again. I swear, this girl can eat! But once her belly was full, she went back to sleep.

We got to look at all of Scott’s pictures from Australia and hear about all the exciting stuff he saw and did while he was there. What a once and a lifetime trip to be able to go on and have so many wonderful memories from all that he got to see and do. I'm jealous! I think Emma needs to get an experience of different cultures starting at an early age. So Michael, when are we going to Australia?
