To All My Grandparent's Houses We Go, But First...

This morning Michael went to a house where his dad was working. He reported back that this house’s backyard was absolutely beautiful and that we needed to go see it. So we waited till the afternoon after Emma woke up from her nap to go get a tour of the yard. It truly was beautiful! I wish we could do landscaping like that at our house. It was so hot outside, but I didn’t want Emma to get a sun burn so I put a light blanket over her body. Poor girl was sweating up a storm, just like her daddy.

This backyard looks like a resort in Mexico!

I wish we could go swimming; it's absolutely beautiful!

We then headed over to Michael’s grandparent’s house to visit with them before they headed out to dinner. It was really good for them to see Emma. Michael’s grandma was holding Emma and then she got all fussy; it was time for her to eat. We then headed over to his parent’s house to visit for a bit. We had a nice dinner and Emma was able to see her grandparents. We had one more stop before heading home, to my parent’s house. We were just going to quickly visit, since it was so late and we were running low on food. Emma tried out her new car seat that my mom will be using in her car. She then became extremely fussy. There was nothing that was stopping the crying. My mom walked around with her and tried getting her to take the pacifier, but all Emma wanted was her mommy. I held her for just a bit then tried to put her in the car seat, where she got fussy all again. She was quiet in the car until we stopped for a slushie. I guess she wanted one too!

Great Grandma Parmeter and Emma

When Michael and I finally got home abut 10:00 PM, Michael fed Emma. This little girl just ate about an hour ago and was still hungry. I got Emma after her feeding, but she was still really fussy and looking like she was hungry. I wanted to change her diaper and get her dressed in ready for bed, but I noticed that she was a little warm. We took her temperature under the right arm and it was 99.8 and after 15 minutes her temperature went down to 99.0 so we were okay. I got another bottle and began feeding her again. This child ate about 7 ounces in such a short amount of time. While I was holding her, I could tell something wasn’t right with her. All of a sudden, Emma was projectile vomiting. Both her and I were covered. But you know what, she seemed a lot better. She rested on her daddy and when I went to put her in her bed, she didn’t even move. Hopefully she isn’t sick and just needed to get some rest.
