As we were leaving the outlet mall, we saw a beautiful sunset. And thankfully, the restaurant was right up the road so we could get outside to take more pictures of the sun setting. I think the main reason we went to Pamlico Jacks was because there was a pirate boat. There wasn't much on the menu that looked appealing, but sometimes you just have to suck it up for the rest of the group. And this was one of those times. After we were seated, we stepped outside to capture a few more pictures of the sunset and even some of really tiny frogs. They were quick so I only got a few. Then it was time to sit down to dinner. This was definitely not one of the better eating out experiences with the kids; it was getting late to eat and close to bedtime, which meant someone had to take a walk with the kids as not to disrupt the whole restaurant. Also, my hamburger was nearly still mooing at me, which made the experience even more disappointing. Thankfully, I filled up on some of Emma's dinner and the bread at the table. Tonight was definitely a night to drink, even with a headache and all!
A few pictures I got while driving to dinner.
The pirate boat attached to the restaurant.
Looks like she had to walk the plank.
Looking over to the horse propped on the side of the restaurant.
These horses are everywhere!
The view of the sunset from the deck at the restaurant.
Tiny frog.
A few more frogs.
Attempting to show Mason, but he was interested in something else.
Almost completely gone.
Mason enjoying his bottle before we eat.
Sneaking a piece of bread off her plate.
Our view from the table.
Mason trying a small nibble of bread.
Emma tried to sneak some butter on her finger.
Such pretty colors in the sunset.
Clap your hands Mason!
Sitting at the table like a big kid!
Definitely a drink kind of night! Cheers babe!
