A good night's rest and a small breakfast then off to the beach. The kids were dressed and ready to go, but first we needed to load up the coolers and snack bag then pack everything into the car. We had just a short two minute drive to the parking lot before lugging all the stuff across the street to the beach. May not have been the ideal situation, but at least we were at a beach! Hope it's not too crowded on this Labor Day and that the kids enjoy the sand and water. I wonder if Emma will remember our last year's vacation to Florida or how Mason will even like being at the beach. We shall see...
Emma dressed in her new swimming suit from Aunt Kathy and Uncle Tom.
Putting on her cover up too. Thanks guys!
It's not time to tell ghost stories, silly girl!
Daddy and Mason leading the way.
Here we come!
Trying to decide if she likes the sand in her shoes and toes or not.
Walking down to the water.
Mason is in awe by all of the water!
Emma's first steps into the ocean.
And she hates it! Oh no!
(The water was pretty cold so I don't blame her)
Trying to lure her further into the water.
Better spot to be.
