At the aquarium, there is a section where you get to be the doctor and get to take car of a turtle. They even have a lab coat you can wear, but Emma didn't want to wear one. She just wanted to get her turtle and make it so much better. Watching The Doc makes her want to fix everything, even us! The section was broken into three smaller areas, one where you got a diagnosis, one where you got the rehab necessary, and one where you set the turtle free. It was a neat concept, but I think still a little above Emma's head, even though she participated throughout the whole thing (sometimes Daddy was just clicking the buttons to move it along faster). Our doc did a good job with her turtle!
Daddy bringing the Doc her patient.
Checking out what is going on with this turtle.
Lots of reading for Daddy.
First Daddy gave the turtle a shot.
Then it was Emma's turn.
Okay, now what?
Cruising around while his sister works hard on her patient.
We have a diagnosis...gut impaction!
Leaning on her gut.
Let's take the turtle to rehab.
Getting all of the necessary supplies out to make this turtle so much better.
I think we did it!
Emma taking the turtle to join his friends.
And he is back swimming around, but not at home yet.
Trying to get him out to release him home.
Releasing the turtle back to the sea!
Bye bye!
Here he comes, he is almost home!
Phew! That was a close one!
