Having not been to this park before and not having a map of where everything is, made it really difficult for us to find the playgrounds. When we first arrived at the park, we drove through the entire thing, but really didn't take note of where the playgrounds were. So it was a nice day and we thought, what the heck, let's just start walking and see where it takes us. Thankfully, my sense of direction was present so we were able to get to the playgrounds relatively easy, but had we gone with Michael's directions, we could still be wandering around the woods.
At the first playground, Mason slept through most of it. But it gave Emma plenty of one on one time with each of us. Emma loves to climb and explore new things. Sometimes, Emma gets a little intimidated by the other kids, especially if they are older and bigger than she is. While we were at this playground, Emma had a little accident with another little girl. Emma was trying to step off of the step to get out of the way of another child and knocked over a smaller little girl who was right behind her. Both children were okay, but more or less just scared of falling on a step. Emma was very concerned about the other child and making sure she was okay, but when we went to ask her how she was feeling, the other family had already left. Emma is such a loving and nuturing person.
Mason fell asleep on the way to the playground.
Climbing down the rock wall.
Learning sign language.
Being silly in the tunnel.
Michael creepishly watching the playground.
Riding on an old school toy.
When he woke up, he was a happy guy!
Our home state.
Hey, what's going on down there?
Such a serious look.
Look who is coming through the tunnel.
Such a beautiful little lady.
Oh no! Here comes Mason!
Excited to see him on a big kid playground.
Looking into the tunnel.
So happy to be able to play with his sister.
Emma, where did you go?
Oh, here she comes!
Kneeling in the tunnel.
Playing in the tunnel like a big boy.
So happy to be playing with each other.
Lounging inside the tunnel.
Michael creeping again.
Stinky feet!
Love this girl!
What a big boy!
Love him!
Trying to look at Mason in the tunnel.
Peeking at Mason.
Mason thought that was hilarious, seeing his sister peek through at him.
Playing in the tunnel.
Giving hugs, such good kids!
