After we were just about warmed up from our polar plunge, and still had time to kill before checking in. There is a Walmart right in front of the resort so we decided to stroll around there and pick up a few cold groceries that we needed. Also, on our drive Michael and I were talking about getting Emma a pretty pink princess fishing pole.
Upon the first few rows, I found a clearance section with a really cheap fishing pole, like $5. My thoughts about spending money are a little different than some others with us. I know that Emma will more than likely only use this fishing pole this one time, even though Michael says he wants to take her fishing more. I also know how that goes with him and wanting to do something, as we have had a donation box ready to get out of our house since we pretty much moved in seven months ago! So, knowing that, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something that would only get used this one time. However, when I brought the pole to the rest of the family, there was discussion about that pole was too cheap and it needed to be something better. Well what if Emma tries it and has absolutely no interest in fishing, I guess it's not my loss if you want to fork out the money for something to sit in our basement. And that's exactly what happened.
Then while we continued to casually walk around the store, I was going to pick up the few things I had on my list to get for some of the recipes I was going to make. I was confronted about getting the cold items as we had not checked in yet and we had no room. Well, we had just about 30 minutes to finish our shopping and then we would be checking in, so the pantry items and then cold items would more than likely be okay by the time we got to the resort. And especially, because it was only a 2 minute drive if we needed to go back. So I put all my items back away as we now had to come back later this evening and walked away to find Michael's Grandma, who was left to go look for something half way across the store all by herself.
After Catherine got checked out, we headed to find a place to sit. In the mean time, Michael decided to go ahead and get some of the items we already had in the cart. Since he didn't bother to ask what was on my list, some things were forgotten and I was just ready to get out of there at that point that I didn't realize it until we got checked into the room. Also, Catherine had a little fall walking out to the car, which got blamed on people that weren't even near her. I guess it makes perfect sense to some, but not to everyone. Hope things get better from here...

Chewing on the shopping cart. Ewww!
Why can't I chew on that?
Just a little upset.

Trying to comfort Baby like we do with Mason.
