Emma's First Time Bowling

This weekend we decided to try something new for Emma.  When Michael was younger, he used to go bowling a lot with his Grandpa.  And after every time bowling, they would go to White Castle for a milk shake.  Well we thought we would try bowling with Emma and since they don't have White Castle's here, we decided to eat a hot dog at their concession stand.  To our surprise, Emma did really well for the hour time limit they had.  She bowled for two and a half games, staying focused for the majority of that time.  Maybe it's a tradition we can begin with her, like Michael and his Grandpa used to do.

Mason was patiently waiting for the bowling fun to begin!

Daddy helping Emma get her bowling shoes on.

 All ready to bowl!

But first, we need to pick out the perfect bowling ball.

 I think this one works!

 Now which one for Daddy?

 Looking around the bowling alley.

Emma and Daddy each have their own lanes.

Emma waiting for Daddy to take his turn.

Emma watching Daddy and learning what to do.

 Yay!  Daddy did it!

Daddy helping Emma up to the ramp for her turn.

 One, Two, Three, GO!

Watching the ball go all the way down.

 Did it hit the pins?

 Now what do we do?

 We bowl again.

 Yay! Emma did it!

Oh wait, come back here ball!

Waiting for Daddy's bowling ball to come back up.

 Which one should we use?

Did it make it there yet?

 Yes it did!

 Checking out their scores.

She was really interested in bowling.

 Chewing away on his fingers.

 Sticking out her little booty.

She's got one hand in her pocket.

 Getting a little distracted.

Mason is teething and the bottom front two teeth are the first to come in.

 Daddy's turn to bowl.

 Then back to helping Emma.

Really all she needs is someone to put the ball up there; she can do the rest!

Looks like someone was getting a little sleepy.

Mason found both hands to chew on.

And we lost her to the arcade for a little bit.

Then she was back to her game.

Emma's first time bowling; 73 not so bad.

Enjoying a sucker for trying something new.

No rest for this one though.

 My guys!

Emma needed Mason to come help push the bowling ball.

Watching the kids in the lane next to us.

An improvement from her first game; 82 the second time.

Being silly with the kids in the lane next to us.

 Bowling with the sucker!

Mommy and Mason came to watch this time.

And get a little help from us too!

 Cute little bowling shoes.

Emma showing off her 'I bowled today' sticker.

Mason enjoying a bottle, while we ate hot dogs.

 Trying to adjust the score.

Who is this pretty little lady?  Oh yea, it's my little girl!
