The kids' sleeping habits have been off all day and so after this last nap, Michael and I decided that they needed to get out of the car for a little bit. We thought, why not go swimming in the indoor pool? If nothing else, at least we could change the kids out of the pajamas! While we headed to the pool, the rest of the family continued to explore the area and even did some shopping before meeting us.
We were the only ones at the indoor pool, but we just thought that was because it was a nice warm day outside so most people would be at the outdoor pool or the beach. Well come to find out, the indoor 'heated' pool was not actually heated at all; it was freezing! It was almost to the point of shivering; and actually, at one point, Emma's fingers were turning blue. Needless to say, we didn't last too terribly long in the pool. Mason got his feet wet and then wanted quickly out, but Emma got in and out several times, and even swam around for a bit. Emma liked the fact that she was tall enough to be able to walk around the shallow part. Michael and I quickly found the place to be, the hot tub! I hope the weather stays nice and we can enjoy the outdoor pool or better yet, the beach!
Watching two butterflies flutter around.
Keeping an eye on his sister.
Getting her floaties on.
First steps into the pool...
Isn't this cold to you?
Mason liked to splash, but didn't want to go in any further.
Emma swimming around.
Somehow the raft got into the middle of the pool.
A big kite in the middle of the indoor pool.
Scooting in the pool again.
Why am I the only one in here?
Guys, help me! This water is freezing!

Or keep away from Daddy.
Waiting for her turn to catch the ball.
Great Grandma watching us play in the water.
