All morning Emma has been patiently waiting for Grandma and Grandpa, and Aunt Melissa to arrive at our house. When we heard they would be there shortly, Emma became even more excited and was pacing around the house and looking through the blinds for them. Come to find out, they were still on the central time zone on the GPS, which meant it was an additional hour of waiting. How am I supposed to tell a 2 year old that? So instead what did we do, we baked gooey butter cookies!
Time flew by and then they were here! Emma was so excited that Grandma and Aunt Melissa could hear her shouting through the door. Mason was asleep, but even the dogs were excited and they woke up Mason, who was so confused about what was going on. Glad they had safe travels; now time to get ready to go on vacation in a couple days!
Watching a show on Grandma's Kindle.
Checking to see what the President has to say about the 50th year anniversary of the MLK walk.
Lounging on Grandma on Emma's couch.
Mason and Aunt Melissa relaxing on the couch.
Found a better spot to watch her show.
Emma welcomed a new puppy to the family; her name is Sugar.
