Since the weather has been cool this week, we haven't had much time to go to the pool. Even today wasn't the warmest of days, but we thought we would give it a try. We asked Emma a few hours before we actually went up there and she said 'not yet, I'm playing downstairs'. So we waited a little bit and just as we were heading upstairs to make dinner, Emma says 'I'm ready to go to the pool now!' Change of plans, as we quickly got them dressed and headed up to the pool. With the sun quickly setting, we knew the water would be getting cooler, but we didn't know just how cool it would be. At first, I got in to help put Emma's floaties on and then to get Mason into his raft. Emma slowly got into the water, but Michael said it was too cold for him to get in. Hopefully, the weather warms up a bit so we can enjoy evening swims at the pool the last little bit of summer.
Emma was swimming back and forth from the steps to me.
Happy little man.
Emma loves to jump into the pool. Here are a few pictures of her jumps today:

Emma finally is letting me put her hair in a ponytail.
