This afternoon when the storms were brewing, Emma and I decided to build a fort. I placed the first blanket on top, and Emma thought she would be able to climb right on top of it. Little did she know that she would fall all the way to the floor. Luckily, she was okay and ready to finish building the fort. And of course, we needed to have her Mickey couch, Minnie tea set, and some odds and end toys. After Mason woke up from his nap, Emma lured him into the fort to join in the fun. It's amazing something so simple as a fort can bring so much joy (and hours of entertainment) to a child.
Sitting on her couch and waiting for her tea to cool down.
Here Mason, come this way.
Good boy, keep coming this way.
Just a little more.
He made it inside the fort!
Siblings playing so well together.
Until the sneak attack from the little brother.
Cali was on guard outside the fort.
Who doesn't need a little Elmo juice?
Trying to sneak in.
Just relaxing.
Being a little camera shy.
Stretch after a nap.
One more time, Cali is trying to sneak in.
This time she went with a different approach, nose first.
The princess eating a fruit pouch outside her fort.
How rotten is she? Daddy is feeding her.
And watching one of her shows while she eats.
