This morning Emma decided she didn't want to go to the park so early so instead we made something new, bubble dough. It was really easy to make; we used cornstarch, hand soap, and olive oil. After I mixed the dough really good, Emma was ready to get her hands in it, or so I thought. After she played with it for a minute or so, she ran off to do something else. It wasn't until I told her that Mason was going to play with it that she came running back over interested in playing with it again. I think Emma enjoyed playing with it, but Mason was a little crabby this morning and didn't seem too interested in it.
Looking into the bowl to try to figure out what it is.
Maybe a little touch will help determine what it is.
Better yet, maybe a little smelling will help.
Finally, Emma just got it out and was playing with it.
Oh, it tears apart!
I think the smile means she likes it!
Mason, on the other hand, wasn't too thrilled to try something new.
Emma to the rescue to try to make it better!
It didn't seem to matter; he just wasn't having a good morning.
Making sure Mason didn't tear off a bite to sample.
One happy little girl.
And a little grumpy man.
