Last Dip At The Pool

While the days of summer are slowly coming to an end, so are the days of the really warm weather to go swimming.  Today was a pretty warm day and we figured that this might be our last chance to go swimming at the pool so well let's go swimming! Shortly after we got there, the 15 minute break took place and we had to get out of the cold water to sit on the patio where the sun had gone behind a cloud and the breeze was blowing.  Not the ideal pool experience we had in mind.

As I again thought this was going to be one of the last times we go swimming here, I thought I may as well get in the water one more hour with Emma (Michael and Mason were sitting out because they were too cold).  I was one of the few people (a total of 4) were left in the pool, and Emma was not one of them.  Emma decided that she wanted to stand outside the pool on the patio or sit on the edge and put just her feet in the water.  She was doing a great job at kicking the beach ball into the water and making me chase all over the pool to get it back!  While yes this wasn't what we had in mind, it sure was fun seeing Emma's creative side as she thought of different ways to enjoy her time at the pool.  Hopefully, in just a few days when we go on vacation, the weather will be warmer and we will be able to enjoy the pool and the ocean.

Michael trying to get Mason warm.

Emma wanted me to take a picture of the pool.

And then a picture of her.

And one with her out of the picture.

 Pretty little lady.

 Clapping Mason's feet.

Emma was going through the people that were at the pool.  Here she is saying her name.

Time for a snack of cheese and crackers:

Mason hanging upside down.

 And he liked it!

Shhh Daddy, don't tell Mommy to look!

 Tickling Mason's belly.

All fun and games until someone gets punched in the face.

 Much better :)

 Still snacking away.

 Tickling Daddy's toes.

Heading home from the pool.
