While on the internet I happened to stumble across something that had a free two hours of play at the Gymboree Play And Music. Since we had been there for Emma's birthday, we knew that she would love to go play again, and this time Mason might be able to participate too!
When we arrived right at the start of the open play, there was no one in the parking lot. It had be a little concerned that what I saw online wasn't accurate. Since we had two sleeping kiddos in the car, I decided to run upstairs and check before waking them up and finding out that it might not be there. To my surprise, they were just opening the doors and yes it was here and it was the open play today! I went back downstairs to wake up two little sleeping angels to let them know we are going to play for hours!
When we got upstairs, there were only two other families with two kids each. It wasn't very crowded and it didn't get much more crowded as the time went on. Maybe they should do better advertising, but I thought it was great for us! We pretty much had the place to ourselves as the time went on. It is a great place for Emma and Mason to run and play, but the cost is just too much for what is given, unless of course you work there....something to think about right?!?!
After hours of playing and two toy balls to go, we headed home to enjoy the rest of the nice weather this weekend with a BBQ. We sure do love summertime, but unfortunately that time of the year is coming to an end. :( We will enjoy what's left of summer, especially as our vacation is just next week!
