We had been telling Emma for awhile that Great Grandma was coming with us on vacation, but she didn't get the fact why she wasn't at our house when the rest of the family arrived. It still didn't really sink in to her that Daddy and Grandpa went to pick up Great Grandma and were going to meet us at the National Harbor in Maryland. She was very surprised when we got out of the car and there she was!
While we were at the Harbor, we walked around a little bit to look at the local shops and to grab lunch before heading home. We had stopped at the Peeps store, played in the sand, fed the fish from the dock, ate lunch at a sandwich shop, and stopped at a kitchen store. Our family enjoys going to this area each month, but the main attraction at that time is the Children's Museum. We hope Catherine enjoyed it as much as we do!
